A. Personal Data Controller.

  1. Administration of your personal data within Kangu Self Storage is carried out on the basis of co-management as referred to in Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ EU. L 2016.119.1. as amended) – hereinafter also referred to as “GDPR”.
  2. Joint Controllers shall jointly determine the purposes and means of processing personal data.
  3. The full responsibility (jointly and severally) for fulfilling the obligations concerning the processing of your personal data is borne by Kangu Self Storage Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Poznań at ul. Ożarowska 42, 61-332 Poznań (KRS: 0000589820, NIP: 7822599073, REGON 363151456, share capital: 7,770,000.00 PLN) and the branch company (see point 5.), where the services for the beneficiary of the personal data are performed.
  4. You may exercise rights arising from the processing of your personal data against any of the joint controllers responsible for fulfilling their obligations with respect to the processing of your personal data. Your exercise of a right has effect for all joint controllers, which means that the right in question will be exercised with each of the joint controllers individually as well as with all of them jointly.
  5. The Joint Controllers are the Kangu Self Storage Group Companies, i.e.:

    • Kangu Warszawa Sp. z o.o. with registered office in Poznań at ul. Ożarowska 42, 61-332 Poznań (KRS: 0000597210, NIP: 7822603774, REGON: 363532431, share capital: 5,000.00 PLN),
    • Kangu Warszawa Mokotów Sp. z o.o. with registered office in Poznań at ul. Ożarowska 42, 61-332 Poznań (KRS: 0000700374, NIP: 7822749466, REGON: 368574463, share capital: 5,000.00 PLN),
    • Kangu Wrocław Sp. z o.o. with registered office in Wrocław at ul. Robotnicza 70C, 53-608 Wrocław (KRS: 0000596880, NIP: 7822603277, REGON: 363501838, share capital: 5,000.00 PLN),
    • Kangu Szczecin Sp. z o.o. with registered office in Szczecin at ul. Al. Bohaterów Warszawy 13B lok. U1, 70-371 Szczecin (KRS: 0000596711, NIP: 7822603113, REGON: 363490129, share capital: 5,000.00 PLN).
  6. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may exercise your rights towards any of the Joint Controllers.

B. Data security and confidentiality

  1. We are committed to ensuring the highest technical and organisational standards in the protection of your data and take care of its security.
  2. We make every effort to ensure the highest security and privacy of your data in accordance with current legislation.
  3. We will only send you messages whose content you have consented to.
  4. The personal data you have entrusted to us is stored and secured in accordance with the principles set out in applicable laws and has been reported to the database of the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection.

C. Rights.

  1. You have the right to request access to your data and to request rectification and amendment, transferring, restriction of processing, and the right to request at any time the erasure or cessation of processing of your personal data.
  2. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where it is processed for purposes arising from the legitimate interests of Kangu Self Storage or a third party
  3. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you have provided.
  4. The personal data you have entrusted is stored and secured in accordance with the principles set out in the applicable legislation.
  5. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection. More information on the exercise of this right is available on the website of the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

D. Automation and profiling.

Your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making, including profiling understood as a form of automated processing of your personal data that involves the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal factors, in particular to analyse or forecast your economic situation or reliability.

E. Purposes of personal data processing.

Personal data will be used by the Data Controller in order to:

  1. enable the use of https://kangu24.com to learn about the Kangu Self Storage business profile, the range of services provided by Kangu Self Storage and information about Kangu Self Storage (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR),
  2. to make enquiries (legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR),
  3. fulfilment of obligations arising from the Joint Controller’s business activities (legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), and including for marketing purposes and presenting offers of services provided by the co-administrator of the data;
  4. to address possible claims and to safeguard the legal and economic interests of Kangu Self Storage (legal basis: Article 6(1)(e) and (f) of GDPR).

The data will be processed for 6 years after it has been provided to a Joint Controller.

Where the data are processed on the basis of consent, the withdrawal of consent shall result in the shortening of the time limit for the processing of the data for the purpose for which consent was given, as defined in the previous sentence. The Joint Controller will then terminate the processing of the data for that purpose on the date of withdrawal of the consent to process the personal data.

F. Entrustment of personal data.

Your personal data may be entrusted to:

  1. entities entitled to obtain such data on the basis of generally applicable laws (e.g.: the Police, the Court, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Bailiff);
  2. entities to whom the Joint Controller entrusts the performance of certain legal or factual actions related to the enforcement of claims or exercise of rights, including:
  3. attorneys or legal advisors performing legal assistance services for the Joint Controller,
  4. intermediaries in the area of payments – electronic money service providers, payment system operators.
  5. Contact us.

The Contact Point within the meaning of Article 26(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ EU. L 2016.119.1. as amended) is:

The provision of personal data is a statutory or contractual requirement or a condition for entering into a contract, and therefore the consequence of not providing personal data is that you will not be able to use the full functionality of kangu24.com and the helpline.
